Recommended Trailer Hitch For A 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unilimited
Question:
I just purchased a new 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and was interested in installing a trailer hitch onto it. I see you have three options. Which one is the best option for me? I will be towing a small travel trailer.

Out of the three trailer hitches that are confirmed for your 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited I recommend The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98856 because it has a matte black powder coated finish which will help it hide scratches and scuffs caused by road debris while towing. The other hitches that are confirmed for your vehicle have a gloss black finish which will show the scratches and scuffs.
The etrailer hitch has a gross towing weight up to 3,500 pounds and a gross tongue weight up to 350 pounds, but when doing some research depending on what style of 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that you have you can only tow up to 2,000 to 3,500 pounds so having a hitch that is over the 3,500 pounds/350 pounds is irrelevant.
When towing a trailer you will also need the trailer wiring harness like The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118786. I recommend this wiring harness over the other harness because it has a more reliable converter box. The last item you will need to tow a trailer if you ever do is The Curt Starter Kit # C45554.
I linked two installation videos below on both the etrailer hitch and The T-One wiring harness being installed onto a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The installation process will be the same for your 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach back out to me and I will be more than happy to help you with any future endeavors.
