Hitch Pin Location for Draw-Tite Hitch on 2017 Mazda CX-9

Question:

What is the depth of the pin hole on this receiver? Most bike racks require it to be greater than 1.5 inches.

From the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest edge of the receiver is 2" for the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76020 that fits your 2017 Mazda CX-9. This will be more than enough space for bike racks!

If you don't already have a bike rack I recommend checking out the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR because it's a mid-range bike rack that does a great job at pairing quality and price-point. The unique U-Shaped frame also helps make it easier to load and unload your bikes.
