Gooseneck Hitch Ball Mount For a 2018 Ram 3500 Long Bed
Question:
Hello, i currently have a 5th wheel hitch rail system on my 2018 ram 3500 srw 8bed. I was wondering if there is a kit that uses the under body system to convert to a ball hitch? I have the gen y system on my 5th wheel and would like to do away with the rail to ball mount plate if possible. From what i can see this truck does not have the oem prep package. If no kit is available which kit would you recommend ? Thanks

I recommend installing the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1314 on your 2018 Ram 3500 long bed. This particular hitch is designed to mount on the cross braces already on your Ram. As this hitch uses the square shank with locking pin it will allow you to add the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3500 if you later need to tow a 5th wheel without the Gen-Y style pin box you have now.
