Recommended Swing Away Bike Rack
Question:
Does the swing type rack come in a single bike model?

The RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack for 2 Bikes item # RKY10002 only comes in a 2-bike configuration. If you are only going to be transporting one bike it is recommended that it be mounted in the carrier closest to your vehicle.
I took a look at our available options for swing away carriers and this is our most economically priced solution. Even if you bought a separate swing away system like the Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender item # Y02483 and used the item # RKY10007 you would be in a comparable price range plus lose the option to transport a second bike if the need ever arose. Additionally an adapter reduces hitch capacity by 50% and not all bike racks are compatible.
The RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack for 2 Bikes item # RKY10002 has a 60 lbs capacity per bike and fits tires up to 5" wide. It includes keyed-alike locks that prevent theft of your bikes and the rack itself.
