Will Firestone Air Bags Works with Curt 5th Wheel Brackets on 2017 Ford F-350

Question:

will the Curt C16428-204 5th wheel mounting brackets fit on my 2017 F250 6 3/4 truck with firestone air springs installed on rear axel? Looks like if I remove spacers from springs the Curt plates will fit between the spring brackets and truck frame using the same bolts and frame holes. Please advise.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F35FV which are a fit for a 2017 Ford F-250 are compatible with the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit for Ford part # C79BR. The air bag brackets mount underneath and inside the frame whereas the fifth wheel hitch brackets mount outside the frame so they will work together great without issue.

If you have a different, older kit then you just need to make sure the old brackets don't mount on the outside of the frame. Unfortunately, we have no way to look up the older kits to ensure compatibility but if you send a photo I'll do my best to speculate fit.
