Can You Cut/Splice and Combine Multiple Kat's Heaters Oil or Transmission Pan Heating Pad
Question:
If I wanted to use 4 of these heaters at once and combine them all into one plug, what would be the best way to go about that? I would like to put one of the 4 on the DEF tank on my diesel vehicle, then the others on the fuel tank, transmission pan, and oil pan. The DEF tank is plastic - do these get too hot for plastic? Thanks!

The Kat's Heaters Oil or Transmission Pan Heating Pad part # KH24025 I cannot recommend cutting and splicing together as it create too much of a fire hazard. Therefore, you'll need to use an extension cord with multiple outlets for this application. They are designed for use with metal transmission and oil pans so we do not recommend use on plastics nor does the manufacturer. They get up to about 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
