Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch for a 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 With 6" Lift
Question:
Can you recommend a sway system for my 2018 GMC 2500 with 6” lift. GVWR 8900 lbs. trailer

Expert Reply:
I recommend using one of the Equal-i-zer Weight Distributions on your 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 with the 6" lift. These systems are weight specific so you will need to match the correct system for your trailer based on the tongue weight and trailer weight. I prefer the Equal-i-zer over others as their quality and longevity have made them the industry leader for 75 years.
200-600LBS Tongue Weight, 6,000LBS Trailer Weight # EQ37061ET
600-1,000LBS Tongue Weight, 10,000LBS Trailer Weight # EQ37101ET
800-1,200LBS Tongue Weight, 12,000LBS Trailer Weight # EQ37121ET
1,000-1,400LBS Tongue Weight, 14,000LBS Trailer Weight # EQ37141ET
None of these hitches include the 3" Drop Shank # EQ90-02-4100 which is included in our other kits. Instead you will be able to add the 9" Drop Shank For 2" Receivers # EQ90-02-4400 or the 9" Drop Shank for 2-1/2" Receivers # EQ94FR to compensate for your trucks lift.
You will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install the hitch ball included with each of the hitches above.
