Question:

My trailer tires are currently: ST 225/75R15 Load Range E 117/112M Can you help me understand what tires would be best? In other words what load range should I make sure I am at? What does the 117/112M mean? Thank you,

In regards to the load range for of a trailer tire, the total of them needs to be rated for the loaded weight of the trailer less the tongue. For example, if the trailer weighs 10,000 lbs we can guesstimate the tongue weight to be around 1,000 lbs - 1,500 lbs. Therefore, the trailer tires combined need to be rated for between 8,500 lbs - 9,000 lbs. The highest load rating for an ST225/75R15 is E, the Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire part # LHWL304 which is rated for up 2,830 lbs.

The "117/112M" references load index and speed symbol. I have attached for you below an entire list of our tire selection in this size.
