Comparing etrailer and CE Smith Idler Hubs for a 3,500 lb Axle

Question:

Hello, I am wondering what the difference between these 2 hubs....# AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K and # CE13515. As far as I can tell they are the same except that one is pre-greased and has a carrying case. Is that correct?

The Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3.5K Axles # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K and the CE Smith Trailer Idler Hub Assembly w/ Case # CE13515 fit the same spindle, have the same bolt pattern, and are galvanized so yes, essentially the only things that separate the 2 assemblies is that the CE Smith comes pre-greased and in a carrying case.

If you choose to go with the etrailer option then you'll also need grease like part # L11380 to pack the bearings with.

Attached are some videos for you to check out.
