Swing Away Hitch Extender For Hitch Mounted Bike Rack

Can this swing rack be used for non-Yakima hitch-mount bike racks, or only the EXO-specific Yakima rack.

The Yakima EXO SwingBase Swing Away Hitch Extender # Y34VR can only be used with EXO accessories so it will not work with your non-Yakima hitch-mounted bike rack. We do have another option though. The Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks # PVD20B will work for your if your bike rack has a dedicated 2 inch shank.
The extender can carry up to 4 bikes and has a weight capacity up to 250 pounds. The hitch has a durable, black powder coated steel that helps resist corrosion. We also have the same version but its swings from the passenger side # PVP20B.
