The 48" Long Safety Chain with 7/16" S-Hook # TCTSCG30-748-04x2 will accept a 3/8" bolt through the opening of the chain link. You will need to ensure the bolt you use has a shear strength which is higher than the 5,000lb weight capacity of the chain.
It is recommended to use either a Weld On Clip # 337SC38B or a Chain Retainer # 3375471000 with safety chains.
