Troubleshooting Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Display Always Showing 1.1
Question:
The unit shows 1.1 on the display all the time no trailer , truck off and locked for hours ? With trailer plugged in , truck off no one in the truck shows 1.1 and can hear noise from trailer brakes ??? Short in unit or brake switch??!

This sounds like a short in the wiring. I would check both the red stoplight and black power wire to see if there is a short and repair as needed. A short in one or both of these would explain the constant power and brake output from your # 90885. If this does not fix the issue then it is likely you need to replace the brake controller.
