Can 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 7-Way Charge Trailer Battery
Question:
Will the 12 volt supply from vehicle 7 pin charge enough while running and driving to maintain deep cycle battery voltage and not effect truck battery operation or charging system??

Helpful Expert Reply:
The 12 volt accessory circuit of a 7-way can keep a deep cycle battery topped off or maintained but if the battery has been discharged significantly you aren't going to be able to recharge it from that state. A lot of this depends on the gauge wire used for this circuit on the vehicle wiring though. If your plan is to use this circuit to charge a battery like that you are going to need to make sure that you use at least 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 which we sell by the foot.
