Replacement Dust Cap/Bearing Buddy For a Hub With Bore Measurement of 47MM
Question:
Hi, I have a German boat trailer for my racing sailboat. I tried normal dust caps but they are a bit too large. The ID of the drum/hub is about 47mm. Do you have dust caps for this type of drum/hub? Regards

Expert Reply:
The Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB1810 is the closest cap we have to your 47mm measurement. The Bearing Buddy fits a hub bore of 1.810" while 47mm is 1.850" so you will want to verify the exact measurement with a Caliper # PTW80157 to ensure if this will fit. The next largest size Bearing Buddy # BB1938SS fits a 1.938" hub bore. We currently do not have dust caps that match the measurements of the Bearing Buddy's I listed above.
