Is Curt T-Connector Converter Box for a 2023 Kia Sorento Safe to Be Installed Under Vehicle
Question:
I am planning to install this on a 2023 Kia Sorento Hybrid. It appears that the converter box will be mounted underneath the vehicle and will be exposed to lots of water and road salt. Is this designed to withstand these conditions? I installed a similar wiring harness in the past, but on the wiring for the trailer was external to the vehicle and I had no concerns about the longevity of it. Thanks!

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C99DR will have adequate protection against the elements when installed on your 2023 Kia Sorento but it isn't a bad idea to try to mount it in the safest location possible just to help limit the amount of road salt it's exposed to.
