Comparing Firestone Standard and Red Label Air Helper Springs for 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500
Question:
I'm looking at getting these Firestone air bags for my 23 Silverado 1500. I see the regular ones and these red label with the higher capacity. Not sure which I should get. Can you help me out here?

More than likely the best choice for your 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2613. With a load leveling capacity of 5,000 lbs it is unlikely you will be exceeding what they are capable of. As long as you are within this capacity there wouldn't be much to gain from the extreme duty air springs.
However, if you will be exceeding that capacity, or if you are constantly towing and hauling heavy loads, the Red Label Extreme # F2709 would be the way to go. These come with a 7,500 lb capacity, both options come with a lifetime warranty on the air springs.
In addition to the air bags I would also recommend adding the Firestone Air Command II # F2219. Having a compressor will allow you to adjust the air pressure no matter where you go. This is a heavy duty compressor so it can handle the higher 150 psi of the Red Label air bags as well. It is a dual path system which allows you to adjust the pressure equally between the pair or individually for side to side leveling.
