Why Isn't Interior Lights of Trailer Working Towed with 2015 Chevy Silverado

Question:

I have a 2015 Silverado 2500 using a 7 pin connector for trailer. All the exterior lights for my trailer work just fine. For some reason, the interior lights are not working at all. The black wire running from the light switch to the cord/plug appears to be fine. Ive check the fuse box diagram but cant seem to find which fuse it could be . The diagram shows the 6 trailer fuses but nothing referring to 12v? Not sure what the issue could be. Thanks

The 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way on your 2015 Chevy Silverado is what powers the interior lights of the trailer. It's not always activated from the factory but to do so there are just a couple connections under the hood of the truck that need to be made. I attached a help article that covers exactly what connections need to be made. You'll need the nuts part # 185916 and # 185917.
