Your 2008 Cadillac Escalade does have brake controller wiring under the dash but there isn't a connector/port on your vehicle. Instead there are just 4 blunt cut wires that you'd need to wire to a brake controller. I attached a help article link on this page that covers exactly where they are and how to make the connections for you to check out. For a brake controller the Brake EVN part # TK63VR is a really solid choice. This controller is proportional so it can sense exactly how hard to apply the trailer brakes, is very reliable, and also is priced great too.
