Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter Recommendation for 2020 Grand Design Solitude 380FL
Question:
I am purchasing a 2020 Grand design Solitude 380fl. I am in UT the RV is in AZ. I have a 2022 Serria 2500 HD Duramax short bed with a gooseneck hitch. I think I might need airbags, but right now my biggest concern is the Hitch. Looking at Reesebox and GenZ what would be my best option?

Since the Reese Goose Box is the only fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter that won't void the frame warranty of your 2020 Grand Design Solitude 380FL that would be the route I would recommend. Since we know your camper has a Lippert 1621 pin box the correct fit would be the part # RP85FR which has a 20k capacity. The Gen-Y adapters do work really well but since they would technically the frame warranty of your newer RV I wouldn't go that route.
