Comparing 12,000LB Fastway e2 & Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Hitch For 2022 Palomino Puma 28BHSS
Question:
Hello. I have a 2017 f350 diesel. And pull a puma 28bhss tt with a gross weight of 9,063 lbs and a tounge weight of 835. I am stuck between this model and the EQ37120ET. Im new to camping and dont experience much sway. But would like the peace of mind. Is the fast way 2 point system going to work better for me? And would the equalizer make my ride to ridged. Thanks

The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-1200 is going to be the little brother to the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37120ET. The main differences between these 2 hithes is the Fastway is designed as an entry level hitch for the person who is unsure of how much they tow. It relies on the 2 points of sway resistance where the bars ride on the frame brackets and comes with a 10-year warranty. The Equal-i-zer is designed to be the last hitch you need to buy and includes a lifetime warranty. It incorporates 2 additional sway points into the hitch head to help reduce sway. The Equal-i-zer will not make your ride any more ridged than the Fastway as they will both the same amount of load tension on the bars and hangers.
If you choose the Fastway e2 you will need a 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6120 and the 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install it on the hitch head. For the Equal-i-zer you will only need the socket since the hitch ball is included with the hitch system.
