Troubleshooting Titan BrakeRite Not Engaging Disc Brakes With Prodigy P3 Brake Controller
Question:
Im seeing a max output current of .4 amp, output voltage of 12.5 V, with manual override, according to trouble shooting display on controller. My Titan Brakerite EOH actuator runs, but not enough to engage disc brakes tandem boat trailer. Re-bled the brakes and very little fluid pressure. The controller is new, actuator 2 years old. Was working great with previous controller. I have new Tekonsha cable harness ordered from you already. Any other ideas?

It is unlikely that the P3 # 90195 is causing a problem, but there could be an issue following the installation. If you used a wiring adapter like the # 3020-P for your 2004 Dodge Ram you could try unplugging it and plugging it back in to make sure the connections are all secure.
Since the brake controller says it has full power, I would check the brake output wire. Start by checking at the rear of your vehicle with a circuit tester like the # PTW2993. This would also be a good time to check your 7-way for any debris or corrosion.
If you have full power at the connector then the problem is on the trailer side. If not, then I would check right behind the brake controller just to be sure. If that checks out there is likely a short somewhere and you will need to find and repair it or replace it with the # 10-1-1.
