Can A ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank Heater Pad Keep A Trailer PLumbing System From Freezing
Question:
We have 2022 Flagstaff Microlite 25ft. It has an enclosed underbelly with heating pads. Will the heated pads keep the pipes enclosed in the belly from freezing with the pads on. We leave the camper set up year round, central Tenn. on the Kentucky border. we do not feel comfortable leaving any heating source on when we are away for a for a weeks time. Im afraid the interior pipes will freeze. other than draining system, is there an alternative. thanks

The ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad w/ Thermostat - 25" Long x 7-1/4" Wide # 277-000163 are more so meant for only keeping the holding tanks warm and wouldn't really be enough to keep the water in the lines of the trailer warm so the only real and safe option would be to winterize your trailer. I also would not recommend leaving any heating sources on while you're away as you could easily run into an issue and have a fire while your gone and never know.
I've attached a couple of our winterization help articles below to help walk you through the process.
