Trouble Tightening Bolts on etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2017 Subaru Crosstrek

Question:

What is the best way to tighten the front bolts at 70lb closest to the bumper? Very tight spot with the hitch installed. Rear one is easy since the hitch doesnt have metal from the hitch in the way

It's hard for me to offer suggestions on the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98838 which is a fit for a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek as I don't physically have the hitch and vehicle in front of me but the instructions state you'll need the following:

3/8" DRIVE RATCHET
11/16" - 3/8" DRIVE SOCKET
3/4" - 3/8" DRIVE SOCKET
DIE GRINDER W/ RASP BIT
3/8" DRIVE TORQUE WRENCH

If you still have issues even with the required tools list, I can tell you that I've installed many hitches and some common tools I use with hard to reach bolts is a combo of short and deep well sockets, extensions of varying lengths, wobble socket adapters, swivel head ratchets, and crowfoot adapters to name a few.
