Will the RedArc Liberty Brake Controller Affect the Braking System on my 2022 Tacoma TRD Sport?

The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR will in no way damage your Tacoma's braking system. It is a proportional controller that responds when your vehicle decelerates. It uses a 3-Axis accelerometer which measures deceleration in all directions for precise braking and smooth stopping action. In no way will this controller ever affect your Toyota's breaking system it only activates the trailer's brakes.
To install the item # RED24FR in your vehicle you will need the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers item # RED99FR which will plug into the factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash of your Tacoma and will not require any splicing.
