Brake Assembly Identification on a Tandem Axle Trailer

I am trying to identify the type of electric brakes I have so I can order the appropriate brake assembly in order to replace the existing Electric Brakes on my Tandem axle trailer. Any guidance you can give is appreciated. There are no identifiers on the Drums or electric brake assembly in which I can find. Thanks

The type of brake assembly shown in your photos were commonly used on mobile home axles and older travel trailers.

We do not carry this style of brakes for this style of trailer. However, if you could provide a little more information I would be happy to make a recommendation for replacement drum brakes for your trailer. In order to get the proper corresponding parts I will need to know the following information:
Brake mounting flange dimension - the center to center distance between the bolt holes
Inner bearing numbers - the reference number stamped on bearing housing
Outer bearing numbers - the reference number stamped on bearing housing
Wheel bolt pattern

The standard brake mounting flange bolt hole spacing is 2-7/8 inches apart.

Your photos indicate that you have already removed the bearings, so you would need the bearing numbers off of both the inner and outer bearings. Another option is to use a precision measuring tool, like a set of digital dial calipers, and take the measurements on on the spindle to determine the correct bearings for that spindle.

I have included a photo showing the the brake mounting flange measurements needed, spindle measurement locations, and the bearings number typical location for your reference.

With this information, we can then identify the hub size of that you will need. With the hub size determined then you we can get the proper electric drum brake assembly that will fit your brake mounting flange.

It would also be helpful to know your current bolt pattern of the wheels, so that the hubs are compatible with your existing wheels.
