i would like to use e98853 on a 2008 sienna. after watching the video it appears it will work

The correct etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2008 Toyota Sienna is part # e98837. The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98853 is not a confirmed fit nor are there any other concealed crosstube options available for this vehicle unfortunately. The design of the hitch is similar but they are not interchangeable.
Please note, if you'll be towing then you'll also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118304 and Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches part # C45554.
