How To Mount Weight Distribution System to American Hauler Enclosed Trailer with Existing Brackets

Question:

I have a 29’x7’ American hauler that I use to pull 5 sleds with my ford Raptor. With the truck loaded up and trailer full of sleds, my truck does squat a bit and want to add a WD hitch for the trailer. My trailer frame has two holes that looks like it holds chains like it would fit a WD and I brought one but the arms are too long. Wonder if there’s a specific WD that fits American hauler trailer, it measures about 28” from the hole to the ball coupler.

I do have an option for you but there isn't a weight distribution system specific to an American Hauler Enclosed Trailer. It looks like the old owner welded some brackets to the frame for a system but I'm not sure which one that was. The best option we could offer would involve you first removing the welded on brackets and then installing the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems part # RP58305. This would then allow you to attach a system like the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System part # RP66084. I have attached below the full list of weight ranges.
