Equal-i-Zer Weight Distribution for 2017 Genesis 19SS with Tongue Weight 900-1150

Question:

I have a trailer with average weights based on CAT numbers of the following: Dry dry GTW 6540 dry tongue 900 Ready to camp, fully loaded with 1/3 water tanks 33 gallons wet GTW 7840 wet tongue 920 Ready to camp, fully loaded with full water tanks 100 gallons wet GTW 8200 wet tongue 1100 Another ready to camp, fully loaded with full water tanks, stuff in truck bed placed towards rear wet GTW 8120 wet tongue 980 I have a short bed 2020 F350 and have plenty of cargo capacity left given this tongue weight. That being said, I load up the truck bed and some stuff is placed behind rear axle thus adding to tongue weight. Currently using the EAZ 1000 kit which caps at 1000. Technically, Im over based on trailer tongue weight at CAT scale as well as packing some items behind rear axle of truck. Proposed, looking at Equal-I-Zer 1000 or 1200. What do you recommend? Im thinking the 1200. Even at trailer dry weight, my tongue is still 900 lbs. Please confirm if I should go 1000 or 1200 Equalizer kit.

Based on your tongue weights that you listed you'd definitely want the 1,200 lb Equal-i-zer part # EQ37121ET that you referenced which has a tongue weight range of 800-1,200 lbs. Ideally your loaded tongue weight falls right in the middle of the trailer's tongue weight range which for you this system is just about perfect for.
