Troubleshooting Right Turn Signal Being Hot With 2016 Ford F-250 Ignition Off

My right hand signal wire is hot even with key off 2016 f250

The only pin that might be hot when your 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty is turned off is the 12V power pin so since you're seeing power on the right turn pin that tells me something is messed up with either your wiring or the connector.

Check your wiring for any places where it might be damaged and 12V power is hopping over to that turn signal circuit. If the wiring itself looks fine then you'll want to disconnect the 7-Way via the US Car Connection and then replace it with the Hopkins # HM40975 if you see damage inside the 7-Way. Be sure to check both ends of the 7-Way though as it's easy for electricity to jump circuits when you introduce corrosion into the mix.

Once you've cleaned up your connections and wiring I recommend adding some Dielectric Grease # 11755 to help prevent damage to your wiring.
