When picking out a fifth wheel hitch the first thing you need to make sure is that the hitch has enough weight capacity for the weight of your trailer. Next you need to determine how the hitch will install in the bed of your truck. Your 2018 Ford F-250 could have the OEM prep package which means it's ready to accept a hitch or it might not have this and you'd need to install a rail kit.
The nicer hitches are a lot quieter and smoother due to having tighter jaw designs that hold the kin pin tightly and prevent it from banging around in the hitch head. If you have the hitch prep package the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3300 would be a really great option that has a tight jaw design, is made in the USA, is easy to use, and very reliable.
If you don't have the prep package the Companion hitch you'd want is the part # BWRVK3500 which would require the rail kit part # BWGNRK1116 and you'd be set.
To know if you have the prep package look in your truck bed. If you see what looks like 5 pucks in the bed you have the package and if they are not there then you do not have the package.
