Even with your 2,200 lb pin weight you still need the correctly rated equalizer upgrade, and the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-652-00 is for axles rated up to 6,000 lbs. So instead, what you will need for your 33 inch axle spacing is the following:
- MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR87ZR
- MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR
The MORryde are actually a better option as they give you a full 3 inches of suspension travel as well as absorbing shock, while the E-Z Flex, while solid, doesn't allow as much travel. This means the MORryde will do a better job of limiting the back-and-forth movement, and the upgrade kit with the shackle straps gives you the same easy-to-use wet bolts as the E-Z Flex.
