Replacement Idler Hub For 1964 Holsclaw Boat Trailer With 1" Diameter Spindle

Question:

I have a 1964 Holsclaw boat trailer and it needs new wheel hub assemblies . 4D-778 is the trailer I.D. # if that helps. I can’t see any # on the bearings but the grease seal has # 47370. It’s a 4 bolt and instead of lug nuts it has bolts . The tire size is 5.30x 12 x. The spindle that the hub goes on is 1”. And it looks to be approximately 4 1/4” long . The hub assembly is held on by a screw on nut and cotter key. Do you have hubs for this ? Please let me know what other info you may need. It’s an old lightweight boat trailer. The hub is stamped with- HM-162 on it.

It sounds like you are needing the CE Smith Trailer Hub Assembly # CE13100. This hub fits on a 1" spindle and has the same 4 bolt lug pattern with the threaded bolts that screw into the hub. The grease seal used has the same 1.249" inner diameter as the 47370 that you have on your current hub. It is designed to fit a BT8 Spindle # TRU94FR that is 4-1/4" long on the 1" diameter portion of the spindle.
