What PSI Should I Inflate My New Trailer Tires To?
Question:
My trailer originally had load range C tires. I replaced them with Load range D. Can I inflate my load range D tires to only 50 lbs or should I use the max pressure of 65?

Expert Reply:
We always recommend inflating your trailer tires to the listed PSI on the sidewall. This will ensure that you will benefit from the full load range of the new tire.
If you were to under inflate the tire than what is called for on the sidewall of your tire # AM10235, then you would not have the maximum weight capacity you could have, and it could also cause them to wear more around the edges and would in turn cause you to change them out sooner.
