Recommendation on Weight Distribution System for 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Towing 4,400 lb Trailer

Question:

I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with the 5.7 liter V8 and the towing package. Online it says my towing capacity is 7200, but my door sticker says 6800. I’m not sure which is correct, but my question is about a weight distribution hitch recommendation for the Jeep to tow a Flagstaff E-pro E20FBS camper which has UVW: 3442 and GVWR: 4400. I am already setup with electric brake assist from a previous camper. What do you recommend for this combination?

We always say go with what's in your personal copy of the owner's manual/what's on your door for the weight capacity. To get a firm answer that you can be confident using I recommend reaching out to your local Jeep dealer with your VIN so you can get a number straight from the horse's mouth.

When it comes to the weight distribution system I really like the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BLU36FR because it uses simple L-brackets with different mount options for your trailer and then you just lift the arms into place instead of having to mess with setting chains at a certain link height and whatnot.

Attached is a review video of this weight distribution system for you to check out.
