Replacement Motor for Kwikee 32 Series Steps on 1999 Winnebago Motorhome
Question:
I have a 1999 Winnebago Cheiftan with electic Kwikee Steps. The pot metal swing arm cracked and I need a replacement arm. Since they dont make those, I am forced to purchase acontrol unit. The 379160 is not the correct unit as the motor drive spline is rectangle. My motor has a circular 6 spline cog. My serial number is 1101215 and series 32. Can you direct me to correct control arm unit

Since you have older steps made in 1999 you're going to need the Motor Upgrade Kit # LC379145 which comes with the control unit, gear box, and motor. Unfortunately the parts for the older Kwikee steps are no longer made so you either need this upgrade kit or a whole new step assembly.
