7-Way Wiring and Wireless Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2021 Toyota Sienna
Question:
I need a 7 round plug and brake control for a 2021 Sienna Limited. There is a 4 flat already installed. Would prefer a controller that is not under the dash above the pedals. Wireless? Thanks

Since your 2021 Toyota Sienna already has a 4-Way flat connector you need to install the 7-Way Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L and so you can use the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180. This plugs into the 7-Way and you change the settings via an app on your phone.
If you don't want to add another step to your towing setup then you can install the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 instead which comes with everything you need for a fully-functioning 7-Way connector.
Then for a brake controller you'll use the Curt Echo Under-Dash Wireless Brake Controller # C27JR with the Pigtail # C51515. This installs up under your dash and you'll use an app on your phone to adjust the different settings. Once you have everything set to your preferences you can essentially turn your phone off and the controller works automatically on it's own.
The app on your phone does have the manual override button for the brakes but you can get the Button # C83HR and mount that anywhere on your dash so it's easily accessible in an emergency situation.
