What size socket is needed for this 1-7/8inch nut?

You will need a 1-7/8 inch deep well socket for the 1-7/8 inch nut on ball # 19286. To install the ball you can use a bench vise to hold it while torquing down the nut or if a vise is not available you can put the ball mount in the hitch so the ball is facing to the side instead of up.
