Troubleshooting A MaxxAir Fan That Beeps Then Shuts Down
Question:
I have had the fan for almost two years , now it wont work. After plug in each time it will give a one single beep. Then it will shut itself down it closed the vent and stop. Any suggestion recommendation would be greatly appreciated thank you.

This has come up in the past, and MaxxAir recommends to remove power from your MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat # MA00-04000K for a minute or so, and then reconnect to reboot the circuit board.
Most of the time this will fix the weird issue you're having, however it wouldn't hurt to also check to see if the fan is receiving 12v with a circuit tester # PTW2992.
