Carrying Capacity of RockyMounts MonoRail Solo Bike Rack for 1 Bike
Question:
Please! What is the maximum load for the ROCKYMOUNT SINGLE EBIKE RACK for 1 1/4 TO 2 TRAILER HITCH
asked by: John
Helpful Expert Reply:
The carrying capacity - or the heaviest your bike can weigh - is 60 lbs for the RockyMounts bike rack you asked about:
- RockyMounts MonoRail Solo Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # RKY10007
The # RKY10007 will fit either a 1-1/4" (Class II only) or 2" hitch, and the 60 lb capacity is true no matter which size hitch you have. As a note, 60 lbs is also the highest weight capacity available for a 1-bike rack.
