Recommended Stainless Steel Door Holders With A 1 x 2-1/4 Mounting Pattern

Question:

My trailer has plastic door holds that bent in a strong wind. Im looking to replace them with stainless steel. My side door is about 5 inches center of pivot to center of the tab. The rear doors are 9 inches. The mounting holes are the same at 1 x 2 1/4. Shorter holds would be fine but will they line up using the existing holes in the trailer and door? I would go to 4 on the side and 6 inch for the rear doors. Thank you.

The T-Style Hook and Keeper Door Holder for RV or Enclosed Trailer - 6" Hook # 37210525 and 4" # 37210515 both have a mounting pattern of 1" x 2-1/4" (seen below) so you should be good to just reuse your current mounting holes. I do recommend putting some butyl tape # AL28FJ on the bracket to help seal up those mounting holes so that water doesn't leak through.
