How To Choose The Correct Slide Out Awning When Dealing With Limited Clearance Space
Question:
I have a Grand Design fifth wheel trailer and i want to purchase slide awnings but one of my slide outs has an awning mounted to it and the clearance to the door and second awning are very tight ,is there a slide out awning that has tight clearance brackets? I am looking for black. thank you

There aren't smaller brackets for slide out awnings but you can go down a size to gain some additional clearance between your other awning and door.
For example, the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000177334 you were looking at fits a flange to flange measurement of 140" to 145". Even if your measurement falls within the 140" to 145" range you could still go a size lower to the # LCV000168328 and just center it over the box to have the arms/brackets sit closer in for additional clearance.
If you can give me the flange to flange measurement and the amount of clearance you have on both sides of the slide out I can help find the correct fit for you.
