Fifth Wheel Rail Kit to Fit 2004 Ford F-150 and Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch
Question:
Hello, I have a 2004 f150 super cab 8ft bed. Trying to install Reese Kwik-Slide 30049. The unit came with the RV but did not include any instructions/manual or the under bed mounting plates/tabs. What will I need to to order to properly install this device? Thank you!

To use the Reese fifth wheel hitch you have in the bed of your 2004 Ford F-150 is going to require you to install a set of fifth wheel rails in the bed of the truck that attach to the frame of the truck through the bed. This is how all hitches install in truck beds. So what you'd want is the Curt Custom Rail Kit part # C16441-204 as this is a custom fit kit that would not require drilling into your vehicle frame which minimizes install time. This also is priced great too so it's by far a better choice than a universal kit. The Curt rails are also compatible with Reese hitches too.
