On Jayco trailers there can be some water or propane tanks or a side-mount jack that can interfere with the chain hanging brackets on a weight distribution system. That is one thing to consider when choosing a weight distribution system.

You will also need to choose a system based on the total tongue weight. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.

The Pro Series system, # PS49583, is rated for 750 to 1,000 pounds tongue weight. If the total tongue weight is in the middle of that range, which would be ideal, then you can use this system. I have included a link to an FAQ article on the right explaining how to determine tongue weight.

If there are items mounted on the frame that would interfere with the chain hangers, you would also need to use hangers # RP58305 that bolt to the sides of the frame.
