The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75703 will fit your 1999 Ford Econoline Club Wagon. This hitch has a tow rating of 6,000 lbs, however, the Econoline Wagon comes in two models either the 150 or 350 and depending on which model you have will determine how much you can tow. Please check your owners manual or call your local Ford dealership to find out how much your Econoline can tow.

I have attached a brief installation video on a 2006 Ford Van.

For a ballmount and ball I recommend the ballmount kit # 989900. This kit comes with 2 ballmounts. One ballmount has a 3/4 inch rise and/or 2 inch drop and the other one has a 2-3/4 inch rise and/or 4 inch drop. This kit also contains a 1-7/8 inch ball and a 2 inch ball, pin and clip and carry bag.

When pulling a trailer you will also need a wiring harness for your lighting system. If your vehicle does not have a factory trailer connector, you will need to install a 4-way trailer connector like the Draw-Tite 4-Pole Hardwire Kit # 18252.

If you trailer has electric brakes then you will also need a vehicle wiring harness such as the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7. If you want to activate your electronic brakes I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885. This is easy to use and is very popular with our customers.

I have attached a brief installation video of the # ETBC7 on a 2002 Ford Van. I have also attached a FAQ article that generally covers trailer wiring.
