Repelling Moisture and Corrosion Using Right Angle 3-Wire Pigtail # A47PB For Trailer Tail Lights
Question:
I am looking to rewire/replace all my old lights and wire on my concession trailer. I am looking at this connection and I am concerned about corrosion being a problem down the road, as my access is not easy after I complete the install. My question is what product can I use to prevent corrosion on these connections?

Expert Reply:
Once the right angle pig tail harness, # A47PB, is plugged in it will seal up nicely but for additional protection from moisture and corrosion apply some dielectric grease, # 11755, to the pins before plugging the harness into the light. Dielectric grease is hydrophobic and will repel moisture and resist corrosion.
