Heavy Duty Leaf Springs and Cushioned Air Ride System for 2017 Dutchmen Voltage

Question:

I have a 2017 Voltage toy hauler trailer and want to put heavier duty springs due to the fact that I have already replaced them once with 6 leaf 7000# and these sit flat if not bowed the wrong way. When I measure center eye to center eye I get 25 1/2inch or 25 3/4inch with the wheels off the ground. Will these 7 leaf 8000# leaf springs work? I am trying to get a higher ride height as well. I am also thinking of getting the Lippert air ride suspension since it says it will raise the trailer 2, but I want to start with springs that dont bow the opposite direction.

Helpful Expert Reply:

If your springs are worn out and flat with the measurements you referenced the Dexter axle leaf springs part # DX74XR would fit as they are a little shorter. The Lippert Center Point by Trailair Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade # LC1565391 would be a really great option as well. It will give you the 2 inches of additional lift you are wanting and also would do an excellent job cushioning the ride quality of the trailer as well.
