Is Sensor Relocation Kit Required for Installation of Draw-Tite Hitch on 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite
Question:
Hi, Im interested in the Draw-tite 76170 for my Honda Odyssey Elite. Im curious, is a different kick sensor required for this hitch? If so, do you know which part is needed from Honda? Thanks

Like all hitches, installation of the Draw-Tite # 76170 will interfere with the kick sensor on your 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite. Following the installation you can check to see if it is still working. Typically you will be able to use the hands-free liftgate feature by placing your foot on either side of the receiver.
If it is not working, or not what you want to do, you can use a sensor relocation kit from Honda. Based on my research you will need the Honda part number 08L91-THR-100A. I recommend contacting your local Honda dealer to verify this information.
