As of October 2016 Shelby is owned by winch maker Dutton Lainson. If you are just needing to replace the 2,000 lbs capacity cable on your Shelby winch, I recommend the Hand Winch Cable with Safety Hook item # DL24104. This cable is 1/4" in diameter and 50' long and has a 3,500 lbs.
If you're looking for a 2,000 lbs capacity winch you will also need the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - TUFFPLATE Finish - 2 Speed - Direct Drive - 2,000 lbs item # DL14730. This winch has a hand brake for manually controlled load release.
