Is Thule WingBar Evo Fit Kit for BMW Fixed Point System Compatible with AeroBlade Edge Crossbars

Question:

Was the Thule aeroblade edge rebranded as the wingbar edge? Would the kits like the 186007 for the wingbar edge be compatible with the aeroblade edge? I just changed cars, require a new kit and one shorter bar 37”, the other one would still work at 41”. Compatibility goes a long way and saves me from buying a whole new $XX bundle. Thank you.

You are correct that Thule swapped out the AeroBlade Edge crossbar system with the WingBar Edge system. The problem is that when they upgraded the legs to the WingBar system is meant you also needed a new fit kit to fit with the new feet. So the Fit Kit for Thule Evo Flush Roof Rack Feet # TH186007 you're needing you unfortunately need a whole new roof rack system as this fit kit isn't compatible with the older AeroBlade Edge system according to Thule.
