Can Spring Seats Be Moved on a 3,500 lbs Axle?

Do you sell an axel without spring seats or can you weld in spring seats at different measurements than what you offer. My springs are 72.5 inches apart

Expert Reply:
We do not sell axles without spring seats but you can remove them and have a new set reattached with a welder. The Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with Standard Spindles item # T3584F-8974 you were looking at has spring seats welded on at 74 inches. To move them you will need the Spring Seat for Round Trailer Axles with 2-3/8" Diameter item # TRSS238. It is recommended to not reuse the ones you cut off.
This axle has a 3,500 lbs capacity and I have linked an installation video below.
